I was out for about forty minutes, the procedure took twenty, and I woke up pretty alert with no med-nausea (hunger nausea, yes, but we expected that). The heavy duty antibiotics took out the infection, but didn't solve the clogged ear problem. So now my allergy meds are switched, and I get to monitor myself for three months and see if that makes a difference. The diagnosis is a "screaming ear infection." Yes, that's exactly what the doctor said, and wondered how it was possible I couldn't feel it.
